Here, at our little business, we strive to bring you quality beekeeping supplies at prices to fit your budget. Being a small, local beekeeper, I became frustrated that there were no local distributors to get my supplies from resulting in most of my budget being "wasted" on shipping costs. The lack of local distribution also meant that I almost lost swarming colonies as a result of waiting on my supplies to be delivered.
When I came upon the opportunity to become a distributor of woodenware, I thought this would be a great way to assist my local beekeeping peers. I am currently focusing on various types of woodenware and foundation that is needed by the average beekeeper. The bulk of our products are commercial grade and have been selected by a trained and caring person. For those of you who are new to beekeeping, commercial grade is the most widely used form of products due to their low cost, but high quality. However, for those beekeepers that prefer select grade, please contact us directly for pricing and availability.
We offer our products unassembled or assembled. If you are short on time, we can provide you with product that has been assembled by gluing and stapling or nailing.
Ordering is easy. Simply call, 540-905-5563, or email us vabeesupply@aol.com with your selections and we will make an appointment for you to pick them up. Our hours are generally:
Monday thru Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
Saturdays 9:00am- 2:00pm**
Sundays - CLOSED
**Starting April 23rd, We will be at the Southern Fauquier Farmers Market in Bealeton. All Saturday appointments will be for pick up at the market. Call by Thursday 9:00am for Saturday pick up.
Please keep in mind, I am a small, local business and I am operating from my family's home in a quiet neighborhood. I know my hours are limited, but I must respect my family, my neighbors, and my employer. I appreciate your cooperation, your interest and value your business.
Being a beekeeper myself, I know that bees don't have a sense of timing when they decide to swarm. If you contact me, you have my promise that I will do whatever I can to help you in an emergency.
I currently accept cash, check or credit card.
I will strive to have my catalog of products in stock at all times. However, incidents do happen when an unexpected high quantity order may deplete our stock for a very short time. You have my word that I will do everything possible to fill your order in a timely manner.
